Mini Babybel selects LaComunidad as digital agency
Amsterdam, 14 June 2010 - Bel Nederland has announced its selection of digital agency for their Mini Babybel brand. LaComunidad, part of WPP (NASDAQ: WPPGY) has won a four way agency pitch for the account. The budget for 2010 has not been released.
Wilmar Tax, senior brand manager at Mini Babybel explains: "online has a growing infuence on our brand and the communications strategy. With their concepts and cases LaComunidad has shown itself to be capable of strenghtening the Mini Babybel brand in the long term."
Having won the Mini Babybel account Igor Beuker, founder of LaComunidad, stated: "Mini Babybel is a fresh and innovative brand with a team of people behind it who are open to new approaches. We have started with the branding and a communications strategy for 2010 and have created the new website, including the very popular World Cup game 'Cheeseheading'"
The winning concept was created by Endre Davids, Igor Beuker, Sander Appel and Pamela Inostroza from LaComunidad. The Mini Babybel pitch team was led by senior brand manager Wilmar Tax and brand manager Eelke Smit.
